Adur & Worthing Councils bring their very successful Social Prescribing Client Management App to the Community AppShare!

We’re delighted to announce that Adur & Worthing Councils is our first Local Government community member to bring an independent MATS accelerator to the AppShare. Adur & Worthing Councils, in line with their Local Digital Declaration commitments, has been working away (with our help), to create a generic version of their Social Prescribing App.

This accelerator was built in light of significant research and effort by Adur & Worthing Councils to provide a solution for primary care professionals that refers people to a range of local, non-clinical community services. Their Social Prescribing Project is called Going Local and has been live since 2016, using and developing this App since the beginning.

This is great news for the Community, as the ethos behind the Community’s creation was always to support interaction and collaboration between MATS builders. So, Like-minded builders from different organisations have the opportunity to collaborate, share, and support each other.

Projects like this is exactly what the AppShare is for, an area where any user can share content, and browse through a catalogue of free pre-built applications, accelerators and components such as themes, widgets and plugins. All of which can be downloaded and used by registered members to start or enhance their own projects – and anyone can join!

As we have shown, anyone can contribute and share. It’s not a big overhead, all you need is an idea, some content, and the want to be part of something big. Our dedicated AppShare team is here to work with you to do the rest. It is massively powerful!

As well as the AppShare, the Community also offers a dedicated Q&A Forum for build advice, the option to make support requests, a Training Academy – where registered users can access all our e-Learning material, and the ability to book classroom training sessions. We also have a Resources Centre – with a large catalogue of downloadable technical documentation, including ‘How-to’ guides, release notes, and video guides. It’s all in one place to make it easy!

For those of you that have not yet experienced the power of Low-code, we have a Try MATS programme too, so if you or someone you know would benefit from real hands-on experience of MATS building for a project, we can make that happen for you.

So what next?

We are currently working with several customers to upload new content, which is great! And we plan to have lots of new accelerators added over the coming months.

We also have a number of other exciting features in the pipeline, including a new Partner area, and new dedicated AppShare areas specifically tailored for Local Government and Health which will be available later this year.

Finally, the success of the Community and AppShare has reinforced our belief that the Community and AppShare has just as much to offer to Liberty users as it does MATS, especially as the two platforms are already integrated to work seamlessly together to provide that overall customer engagement solution. So, with that in mind we will be bringing our plans forward to deliver all the Community and Appshare features for our Liberty platform users as well. Watch this space!

Anyone can become part of our MATS Community, so why not join our other 250+ members and get creating.
