Welcome to the Patient Hub Family
A big Thank You to five NHS project teams for their contributions to recent successful Patient Hub implementation projects. Welcome to the Patient Hub Family.
The Patient Hub Team is delighted to announce go-live at several new NHS Trusts and Boards with our patient engagement portal, Patient Hub. Supporting the NHS to deliver on its digital transformation goals is at the heart of what we do. Each project starts with a focus on how to join up the patient journey, and make it simple and accessible for all.
Digital transformation isn’t really digital transformation without engagement and adoption of the system by end users, so it is great to see how readily patients are engaging with Patient Hub and using it to manage their own appointments.

Project Teams make roll-out success look easy. So, it’s no wonder that often the effort and hard work is underestimated. In reality, it’s a huge effort over many months to manage many competing objectives. In celebration of their incredible achievements, it’s important to give a big “shout out” to the teams at:
- NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde
- NHS Highland
- Somerset NHS Foundation Trust
- The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust
- University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust
These teams have worked tirelessly to deliver transformation success to help their patients, staff, and hospital. Congratulations to everyone involved!
As deployments advance, hospitals quickly see that Patient Hub is so much more than appointment management, digital letters, and reminders. Peri-operative Surveys save clinical time, Waiting List management makes it easier and faster for patients to manage their care and for staff to manage and validate their waitlists. And, receptionists can safely direct patients to waiting areas with I’ve Arrived virtual queuing.
We were able to catch up with a few NHS project leads to get their feedback, and find out how it was for them:
Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust
Once the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust went live with appointments and digital letters in Patient Hub, it was evident that both services and patients are willing to engage with digital.
“The launch of Patient Hub notifications with digital letters for outpatient appointments has been successful across multiple specialties in our Trust. This has been achieved in a short period of time, with more than 25% of our outpatient appointments live in Patient Hub in the first 6 weeks. Services have readily engaged with the plan for a quick roll-out.”

NHS Highland
At NHS Highland, they launched Waiting List on Patient Hub to help them manage their waiting list. This pioneering team collaborated closely with our R&D team to achieve the best possible Waiting List outcomes. The project has started well and they expect to roll out to all departments within 12 months.
“NHS Highland launched Patient Hub waiting list management within neurology in March 2022. Early indicators show a positive response rate of 53%. We look forward to working with Netcall to aid further roll-out to other specialities.”
Rhian Davies, Project Manager – Medical Division
Louise Young, Programme Director, Patient Hub said: “It’s been an exciting quarter working alongside so many NHS Trusts and Boards. We are very motivated by both watching and celebrating their early achievements. It’s been a real pleasure for #TeamPatientHub to support a variety of deployment types. We look forward to more customer successes in the next quarter.”
Keep an eye out for more customers joining the Patient Hub Family.
