Ecliptic’s Aries wins App of the Year 2023

30th November 2023

Netcall is delighted to announce Ecliptic as winner of the 2023 App of the Year for their Aries app.

Our annual App of the Year Awards shine a spotlight on the finest apps, created by our customers in our low-code process automation platform, Liberty Create. Most importantly, the awards celebrate their impressive efforts to digitally enhance the lives of customers, communities and organisations across the UK. Watch the event demo highlights.

Ecliptic digitises key insurance relationships

Established in 2015, Ecliptic is Advent Insurance Management’s digital division. They aim to untangle the complexities of the market for those that work within it and to facilitate the market-wide objective of modernisation. As a Netcall partner, Ecliptic addressed the challenge of effectively facilitating and managing various stakeholder relationships in the insurance industry.

Aries was built in Liberty Create to digitally manage relationships between various stakeholders in the insurance industry. Using low-code process automation, Aries seamlessly handles interactions between insurance carriers, third-party administrators (TPAs) and auditors, with highly configurable audit functionality provided on a digital platform for more efficiency.

Paul Bermingham, CEO at Ecliptic accepted the award and says, “It allowed us to collaborate with our clients in the market and all the different party types to pull it together. It enabled us to collaborate within our own organisation to design that — and George and the team’s done a fantastic job of building it. It’s also testament to Netcall, and how far it’s come as platform and product. There are some fantastic ideas in there and it’s given us ideas and inspiration for how we can go on and do better things with it. And we’re inspired by the other incredible ideas out there as we continue our journey with Liberty Create.”

Awards host Richard Billington is Netcall’s Chief Technology Officer and was part of the judging panel: “We are delighted to see such creative and innovative solutions presented by our three finalists. Successful digital transformation is about delivering real value to its users — and each app demonstrated how it could improve service, efficiency and convenience.

Ecliptic’s Aries app is an innovative and comprehensive solution to a complex problem, and features a great UI and a well-thought out permission structure. Along with meeting vital audit requirements set within a heavily regulated industry, Aries offers a range of digital functions and customisation for its insurance users to promote greater efficiency and value throughout the industry.

The awards once again demonstrate the power of Liberty Create as a platform. Solving real business problems, our winner and finalists have shown how imagination, coupled with an innovative tool, can deliver efficiency and results.”

The 2023 finalists

Hosted on 30 November this year, each finalist presented their app to a live virtual audience in our App of the Year Awards 2023. The finalists are:

  • DI Blue — for their Flight Invoicing System App
  • Adur & Worthing District Council — for their No-code Form Builder
