Celebrating excellence in Local Government

It is with great excitement that we announce Newcastle City Council (NCC) and Netcall have been shortlisted in the Digital Transformation category of the 2024 MJ Awards. The awards shine a light on digital innovation projects that have led to the successful transformation of either a service, department or organisation.

Within the Digital Transformation category, shortlisted projects have demonstrated a clear focus on innovation and a digital approach to organisational transformation. Judges were specifically looking at how innovative digital use has resulted in clear evidence of cost savings or efficiency gains. NCC proved worthy of a coveted place on the Digital Transformation shortlist and will attend the official awards ceremony, to be held on 21st June 2024.

Newcastle City Council’s digital approach to organisational transformation, facilitated by Netcall’s innovative solutions, has revolutionised local government services, structure, strategy and culture. Through simplification, automation and integration, NCC achieved tangible benefits, including cost savings, efficiency gains and enhanced citizen and employee experiences, ultimately leading to a more responsive, agile, and citizen-centric local government.

All winners will be announced during the awards ceremony at Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge in London on 21st June 2024. The 2024 awards judging panel was once again made up of a diverse range of highly influential and respected figures in local government across the UK.
