Experienced CIO joins Netcall to lead healthcare client solutions
The latest appointment will support Netcall’s growth goals within the health and wellbeing sector, supporting the NHS as it navigates the complexities associated with digital transformation
We are pleased to announce that John Clarke has been appointed as Head of Client Solutions – Health.
John brings with him a wealth of experience from the health sector, having worked in the industry for over two decades. He was most recently the CIO at St Andrew’s Healthcare, a major multi-site charity providing specialist mental healthcare for patients with some of the most complex, challenging mental health needs in the UK – a position he held for four years.
Before that, John was CIO at University Hospitals of Leicester for over nine years, one of the UK’s largest teaching hospitals. Additional roles include NHS East Midlands as Deputy CIO and Programme Director for Nottingham Health Authority.
As a previous Netcall customer, John was looking to join a company that mirrored his values, and through his new role at Netcall aims to make a positive difference to society when it comes to the delivery of healthcare across our communities.
With disconnected systems continuing to prove a key challenge for the healthcare sector, one of John’s key remits is to provide healthcare customers with solutions that can streamline and consolidate data processes, taking the pain out of transformation to enable greater efficiency and improved patient experiences. A more connected back office will also lead to significant cost savings for the NHS.
John commented:
I am excited to be a new member of the Netcall family, working on some innovative products and projects that involve cutting-edge technologies and creative approaches. I can’t wait to learn from the best and to share my skills and ideas as well. I’m also looking forward to collaborating with all our talented professionals from different backgrounds and disciplines, to help drive change in the NHS and streamline it for both NHS professionals and patients.
As a company, Netcall has served the NHS and healthcare organisations for 27 years, working with a number of NHS trusts across the UK to connect patients, staff and systems in order to improve patient care and increase staff capacity through its end-to-end digital health platform.
