Developing digital services in low-code at Croydon Council
Hear from Dave Briggs, Head of Digital Operations at Croydon Council, who spoke at a recent Gov Share event.
Dave shares Croydon’s experience of developing digital services in low-code. An agile response to the pandemic.
He explains how COVID-19 affected their way of working and talks us through a specific application build as a direct result of the crisis. In just nine days, the team built and launched a business rates claim solution using Liberty Create. This includes a business register and applicants can follow their claim progress right the way through. The office team are able to check and process the grants that the business owners so desperately needed.
