Netcall’s Create surfs Forrester low-code wave
Forrester Wave™ reports are coveted guides for tech buyers everywhere. Every technology company wants to be featured in their hallowed pages. They’re created with the participation of analysts, research associates, vendor response teams and customer references – some expert eyes.
So, it’s an honour that our Create low-code development platform is surfing the Forrester low-code wave and has been rated among the “most significant” low-code platforms for application development and delivery (AD&D) professionals in The Forrester Wave™: Low-Code Development Platforms For AD&D Professionals, Q1 2019.
This isn’t the first time the platform has made it into a Forrester’s Wave™ report either. In 2017, Forrester rated our Create low-code platform as a leader in The Forrester New Wave™: Low-Code Platforms For Business Developers, Q4 2017.
This means Create has now been recognised among platforms for both business users and professional developers. What’s more, Netcall is the only UK company included in the AD&D professionals report.
This is a big deal for us, and for our customers too. To compete on this level is, in our opinion, a testament to the power of our platform and the incredible engineers behind it.
We think it’s also a testament to our passionate customer community, and their feedback, loyalty and support. If you’re reading this, thanks – it’s down to you that we’re where we are today.
Platform providers evaluated in the Forrester Wave™: Low-Code Development Platforms For AD&D Professionals, Q1 2019 are divided into four categories based on the strength of their strategy, current offering and market presence. These are: Leaders, Strong Performers, Contenders and Challengers.
We ranked as a ‘Contender’ – but received the highest score possible in the vision and strategy criterion. We’re not just in a brilliant place at the moment, but we’ve a solid plan for the future of the platform. And we’re thrilled that Forrester has, in our opinion, recognised this.
In its written assessment, Forrester noted that Create has “always had broad functionality”, but our pivot towards IT users has allowed us to add coding tools for developers and “bulked up” management controls.
Forrester states the Create platform’s “expertise in and tooling for business developers make it a potential choice for clients seeking a single platform for both professional developers and business experts.”
Importantly, the Forrester low-code wave report also noted our reference customers reporting the product requires “very little training to produce meaningful apps” and they gave “high marks” to our process automation facilities.
Not only is our low-code development platform powerful, it’s also easy-to-use and simple to implement. What’s more, we have an established community of loyal users – who are guiding our technology roadmap.
We’re also seen as data security leaders – a responsibility we take very seriously. Threats to data integrity are becoming ever more frequent and diverse. We do everything in our power to ensure customer and employee data is protected and used in adherence with international privacy regulations.
Demand for tools that empower business users continues to grow. The popularity of our process automation features stands us in good stead, as we work to differentiate our place in the market.
In short? We believe this latest report is a welcome confirmation of what we already knew. Our Create platform is among the best and most versatile low-code platforms on the planet – and we’ve got the vision to make it even better.
