Yorkshire & the Humber Peer Group Meet-up
Recorded: Tuesday 29th March 2022
Innovation in local government through the pandemic
We were delighted to be taking part in Public Sector Digital Transformation Forum’s (PSDTF) first post-Pandemic event in a hybrid format. It’s been over two years since the group has got together in person, so we were excited to be back to discuss innovation in local government.
It has been a tough two years, but in that time we have seen some great innovations from our local government customers.
The PSDTF incorporates the Public Sector Customer Services Forum, which is the largest online community of UK Senior Managers sharing knowledge and best practice around customer service transformation and channel shift.
This session includes a series of lightning talks from local authorities and suppliers focusing on innovation in local government. Our session was hosted by Mark Gannon, former CIO at Sheffield City Council who has recently joined the team at Netcall. He interviewed Andy Shepherd, Head of Business Architecture at Sheffield City Council about their use of RPA. Watch what he had to say below.

Low-code brings IT and the business together to achieve amazing things. Co-creation extends this idea by making use of work that other organisations have done, tailoring it to suit your needs and speed up digital transformation.
We spoke to Dave Briggs from Sensible Tech and asked him frequent questions we get from our local government customers about low-code. Take a look at his answers below and you can even watch some short clips from the interview.
