We are delighted to see such creative and innovative solutions presented by our three finalists. Successful digital transformation is about delivering real value to its users — and each app demonstrated how it could improve service, efficiency and convenience.
Richard Billington, Chief Technology Officer
For their Aries app
Hear from George McCarthy, Head of Technology and Paul Bermingham, CEO at Ecliptic, as they walk us through the features of Aries, our winning App of the Year 2023. The Aries app solves a complex problem, delivers a comprehensive solution to vital audit requirements and a strong permission structure, to provide a smooth, digital experience to a range of insurance industry users.
It allowed us to collaborate with our clients in the market and all the
different party types to pull it together. It enabled us to collaborate within our own organisation to design that — and George and the team’s done a fantastic job of building it. It’s also testament to Netcall, and how far it’s come as platform and product. There are some fantastic ideas in there and it’s given us ideas and inspiration for how we can go on and do better things with it as well.

Using Liberty Create for transformation
The awards celebrate the impressive efforts by our Create customers to digitally enhance the lives of customers, communities and organisations across the UK. Each of this year’s entries were evaluated against the three core criteria of customer experience, digital transformation and innovation.
Great CX makes lives easier and builds goodwill. As a key differentiator that drives success, it means customers are treated right and treated well. Whether it’s for your customers, people or operations, a new app should be easy to use, fast and solve challenges.
Digital transformation is changing the lives of customers, organisations and communities everywhere – from redesigning processes or enhancing self-service. Whatever the challenge, digital change should deliver a positive, more efficient experience.
Innovation is coming up with new, creative ways to tackle challenges. You might need to be quick to respond to a changing situation, or looking for a new idea to solve a growing problem. Apps fuelled by innovative thinking produce results AND new opportunities.
